Kathy Laytham, NP, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Consultant, passionate about providing holistic care to patients of all ages. She emphasizes empowering individuals and families to actively participate in their healthcare decisions, offering compassionate support throughout their journeys. As a certified lactation consultant, Kathy is particularly focused on helping families navigate breastfeeding.

With extensive experience, Kathy has practiced in the Kansas City area and spent 17 years in Taiwan, where she taught at a university and cared for children in an orphanage. These diverse experiences have shaped her unique approach to healthcare, allowing her to connect with patients from various backgrounds.

In 2020, after 30 years, Kathy returned to Carthage and joined Sacry Family Medicine. She continues to bring her global perspective and compassionate care to the local community. Outside of work, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children.
