Kathy Ervie, PA

Kathy (Switzer) Ervie PA-C is a North Missouri native who grew up on her family’s farm north of Bucklin. She is thrilled to return home to provide specialized orthopedic care to her community. After graduating from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University in 1998 and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2003. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Kathy has spent much of her career in orthopedic surgery, previously living in Kansas City with her husband Damon and their sons, Zach and Ben. Most recently, she served the Clinton, MO community. Kathy was the founding Program Director of the PA program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine from 2012 to 2021 and has served as past president of the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants. She values education and enjoys mentoring medical students.
Now living at Lake Nehai with Damon and their black lab Matilda, Kathy enjoys boating, reading, entertaining, gardening, and traveling to tropical destinations.
