I am Robert D Tague MD and was raised in a small town in Ohio and wanted to be physician as long as I can remember. I graduated The Ohio State Uniersity with a degree in microbiology. Subsequently I attended the American University of the Caribbean where I earned my MD degree. Much of my training was in St Louis and later residency in Madisonville, Kentucky. There are many leadership positions in which I have served in my years as a physician such as Chief of Staff, Department Chairs, VPMA and numerous medical boards and leadership positions.
For most of my career I was able to take my children on rounds in the hospital until the corporate structure curtailed the family interaction to not allow me that privilege. My wife also grew up under her Doctor Father as she went to the hospital with him. I have taken care of patients and their families for over 30 years and am grateful that the familes allow me to care for them through their generations. I do not just treat symptoms, I pursue the diagnosis to deliver the best care available and I educate my patients on their disease process or condition I have been a preceptor for UMKC and St Louis University medical students hoping I can make an impression in their treatment of people and their lives.
I am proud to be a part of American Medical Administrators as we move forward together treating our patients and delivering the best possible care in a new setting of medical care.
